Its good price for a hotel in that location. The room was clean and the TV worked with no problem. Its close to the downtown and seaword and the zoo so it would be a good place to stay with the kids too.
The breakfast was terrible, there wasnt anything except a donut and some apples. There should be at least some bread and some cheese or at least jelly or sumthin for a simple sandwich. And the internet was kind of slow in the afternoons. And sometimes it didnt even want to connect.
The service. Also, the WiFi worked only in a few rooms. I would recommend this Super 8 only to budget travellers.
The hotel was quiet, clean and confortable. The breakfast was just enough, but it helps.
continental breakfast was not good...poor service.not enoughvariety.
Not CLean. Breakfast was not at all upto the mark. Room is not lcean.
The cafe next door at the best western
Not clean. No iron.
Conveniently located near everything. Short drive to Hillcrest, San Diego, Zoo, Sea World etc. Lots of places to eat along Hotel Circle. One of the cheaper places on the strip. Has Continental Breakfast on the 2nd floor of the 4 floor hotel. Nice bathrooms.
Close to sea world and the zoo.
Bathroom door didn't close correctly. There was a 3 inch gap on top and bottom of door and it was not straight. You could hear the neighbors through the walls. Noisy.
The San Diego /Mission Valley area is beautiful with awesome weather. It is a top notch tourist area for the elite and family!
I did not like that such a low class hotel could exist in such a prime location ! For the price we paid it was highway robbery! The hotel and tourist industry should be ashamed to allow dreadful hotel in such a prime and beautiful are!The Super 8 hotel was the worst part of our trip.Never again !
Location was good.
No shampoo or lotion in the room and didnt have any at front desk
The price was good. Room was clean and adequate. Location convenient. Desk staff friendly. Shower worked well and was convenient (ledge for soap, etc., excellent faucet).
Very small rooms, bare minimum of provisions--two pillows, had to call in someone for TV to work properly, switch absent on bedside lamp--just a hole (could only turn off at night by getting up and walking around the bed to the wall switch), bathroom fan connected to above-mirror light switch rather than to over-shower light switch (i.e., for putting on make-up, had to have loud fan on all the time). Exterior/parking area not attractive and a bit cramped. Difficult to get in/out with car because of proximity to tight curve and traffic.
At first looks inside the room it didn't look too appealing, however I got what I paid for. In other words it was a good hotel for the money. Probably will upgrade on my next vacation hotel. But the hotel was a pretty good bargain on such short notice.
The window didn't have a screen on it, so a few mosquitos flew in. It had a musty odor as well but it went away with the door open to ventilate the room.
It was very clean, comfortable & good price.
The motel was close proximity to Sea World.
I wouldn't say I didn't enjoy my stay or particularly disliked anything about the motel, except the price was pretty steep. Two hundred dollars (after taxes/fees) for one night is expensive, and everything else was sold out. I would have paid for two nights if the price was lower. I will book a week in advance at a cheaper motel in the future.
it was close to everything.there was a refrig and mw in the rooms-great for traveling with small kids.
the sheets were very stained, the towels really needed fabric softner. also no pool but we liked the beach
